Last Sunday evening we hit the Marina beach, my favorite spot in Chennai.
Before starting to the beach I underwent car driving training under Anand with two kids in tow. I wont say I did well but somehow I have to get license. So severe practise sessions ahead. But with two kids along we gonna have really tough time.
After practising for about an hour we were off to Marina.
My heart does a happy dance whenever we go there. Awesomest place in Chennai.
I couldnt get wet cos I have a leg injury. So I was in the sands while the guys went into the water. It was Aadvik's first time to Beach. When made to stand in water he started crying as he felt the ground not stable under his tiny legs. Poor fellow.lol.
Aarav enjoyed a lot as he completely got wet and then changed clothes. He skipped his afternoon nap so he was very finicky and wouldnt pose for a picture.
After our usual fare of sundal, sukku kaapi and sone papdi we took a family photo with a professional photographer but we never got the picture. Good we didnt pay him in advance.
It was a pleasant surprise when we bumped into my cousins Vaishnavi and Swetha on our way back to parking. It was good to meet them after long time.
We ve took a new resolution that we will not dine out every week as we used to and eat home cooked food on Sundays too. Aarav didnt adapt well to our policy as he had some beginner's trouble.. He tried his level best to explain us how badly he wanted to go to Ratna cafe for dinner but all in vain.
Finally we ate pasta for dinner and the day was done!! An evening well spent :)
